At the heart of Kirti’s perfumes lies Gandhayukti, an ancient technique for extracting fragrance. This time-honored method, guided by Gandhashastra, part of Ayurvedic principles, involves our skilled artisans -Gandharika- who expertly blend natural essences to ensure the scent’s authenticity and purity. This technique allows us to create perfumes that are deeply rooted in tradition, capturing the full spectrum of botanical fragrances.

Using age-old distillation techniques, we extract the purest oils from our botanicals. Flowers and herbs are gently heated in copper vessels, releasing their natural essence without compromise. Our process is repeated multiple times to ensure each attar remains alcohol-free and potent. We are also actively developing our own traditional distillation systems—designed to operate closer to our cultivation zones—preserving freshness and supporting sustainable practices from farm to fragrance.

After distillation, the fragrance is carefully stored in handcrafted kuppis—traditional leather bottles designed to preserve the scent’s purity. This final step ensures that the perfume matures gracefully, allowing its full depth and richness to develop. The result is a luxurious fragrance, capturing the essence of nature in every drop.
